If you don’t know what the open market operations are, it’s proposal that came from our economics team that basically wants Star Atlas to be more involved in the market.

So, uh, it consists of couple key pillars that we’re going to cover, but Stratus will be participating actively in the ship markets, always listing ships above market price, but it is intended also to capture the upside of the ecosystem as well. And Automata to be able to capture revenue since we haven’t been selling really um, chips at origination price.

So, we’re going to be taking more dynamic approach to that.

basically [snorts] um on top of that all the revenue made through this um initiative is going to be replacing what we sell from the tokens.

So let’s say uh Automata makes $100,000 from the open market operations. Those $100,000 is money that we will stop selling that Automata will stop selling from the token emissions basically.

So think that’s very fast way to cover it. Uh just let me know if you have anything else that we should be covering there.

Uh the just very very quick summary of the preface that Chris did during the ecom forum is that web3 gaming tokens are mostly wrecked which make people sad and anxious and all of this and we have not been selling as sensei said ship supplies at originations price because that logic the origination price logic were created for very different ecosystem than the one that we have how so Chris came here acknowledged the real market situations and said guys we in automata are releasing lot of cool stuff bunch of new projects uh we have zinc coming etc and we need economic framework that allows us to capitalize on those upcoming releases that makes our our market more dynamic more liquid and he came with three-parts plan uh Each one of those parts they necessarily come together because they they cycle together they help each other as we are going to see in the next slides.

That means that Statatlas team is going to delist every single order that we have in the market right now. Those orders are following the VWOP logic and we are going to release the market uh the inventory that we have not everything at once but in small trenches that follow more aligned logic with the current market prices. And an important caveat here, Santi, is that we are not going to cut the floor.

We are not undercut our players.

We are going to list above the floor price in order to allow the market to prosper. We want ship prices to to increase, not decrease.

So, we are going to keep it steady. Small trenches of strategic chip sales going this way. >> Yeah.

And >> and just to to clarify that and you covered it just but yeah we this is intended to position automata in better way to capture value um on the upside. >> So it’s not like >> we are not going to be creating like race to the bottom or anything like that. Uh because the ships that we’re selling first of all are small trenches.

It’s not like we’re just listing full inventory there. Um, but it’s small trenches above uh market prices.

So, it’s intended to capture potential upside more than anything else. >> And even even with it being small trenches and above that lowest listing, it’s it’s also the listings that we do uh introduce ourselves to are based off of fundamental analysis of of what’s actually um selling in the market.

So, it’s not like uh we’re just going there and putting listing in in in ship or an asset that um doesn’t have any demand. think that that would also create race at the bottom as well.

So, uh there’s there’s there’s lot of thought that went into this.

He’ll be watching the prices and everything that’s listed in this market will come from him.

So, he’ll be there. uh steady and watchful of those strategic ship sales and the counterpart of this is that automat will also join the market in the buyer side using atlas from the emissions curve.

We are going to take away portion of the emissions that goes to other star atlas items like score fix and etc. Curies is still working out the details on that front and we are going to use that to place buy orders for ships at competitive prices reducing the supply of the ships.

So every ship that Automata buys is ship that’s going to be burned or it’s going to be out of the Staratas ecosystem. Uh effectively creating deflationary pressure on Staratless ships. And finally the third portion of this initiative is that every as Sensei said in the introduction that every revenue that we make here, every dollar that we acquire from this operation will reduce the Atlas and Pol liquidations and increases buyback.

So for example, let’s say we need we sell 100,000 ships. Uh this will translate in uh in the next month in uh in less 3,00 3,3003 $333 day less polish sales from our side and potentially uh even changing to buyback initiative.

Yeah, sorry was typing. Uh yeah, the the guard rails here.

We can go this quickly.

Yes, this is also important because we are doing this after extensive analysis and is already those guard rails exist in order to allow the market to function properly.

So every player in the ecosystem can benefit from this.

So the prices will be determined by the continue using data theory and intuition above market value.

So for example, let’s say something that happened.

Someone was hacked last week and he and he sold the hacker sold the commander ships and capital ships for an absurdly low price. That variable those sales >> four capitals at 1k each.

Yeah, it was bizarre. It was something bizarre. Uh those data, those sales, they will not be used as element of this initiative like it’s going to be excluded because it doesn’t make sense.

It doesn’t it doesn’t translate the logic of the status market. Uh the maximum threshold of ship sales will also be calculated based on each ship market.

So for example, let’s say we we list 100 XXOS. We’ll not be doing the same thing with malls or commanders. For example, every ship is different market.

Every ship has different logic and Chris will analyze each one of them and place trenches that make sense with that ship logic. Uh we are also not going to be minting any ship any new ships for sales.

So for example uh the airbikes for example all airbikes were sold guess if remember correctly think this was the case but for example the the KI compact hero for example I’m sure of that one uh this one he all their ships were sold to the community all all ships of this class was sold to the community so we don’t have any of it so we can’t sell >> this inventory but we have visos solos on the other hand for example in automata the coffers. >> So those ships will be selling following this this new logic. Uh and finally, automata may purchase certain ships at discount on the marketplace in order to reduce supply and booster price.

Ships pa purchased this way will be burned. Uh so yeah, those ships that we buy back, they will follow the logic of the market and they will be out of the supply.

So if automata buys uh 1,000 airbikes, the total airbikes that exists in in the ecosystem will be 10,000 airbikes lower. think those are it senti the main guard rails. >> We can cover this.

So starting December, anytime now, we are going to delete all automata ship orders.

We are going to release selected ships with new prices and new quantities. Oh, since something that forgot which is super important was not in that slide is that we also be introducing new crafting recipes for ships on Sage and C4.

So we are something else that we want to do here is start what would be the crafting career in Staratus.

So players will be able to craft ships and those will be new ships that doesn’t exist in the galaxy marketplace in Star Atlas. And those ships you can buy you can sell them back to Automata for fixed Atlas price.

Yes, redemption as the guys are saying they >> redeem. Redeem.

Yeah, >> redeem because crafting is going to be lot more complex.

But yeah, that’s the logic. We create career where you guys can redeem ships and sell them in the galactic marketplace, giving you more options of things to do in Star Atlas. >> Yeah.

Uh we are also going to offset token sales based on the earned value.

We are this is another big one.

We are going to reduce marketplace fees to zero for 60 days period. >> That’s huge one. We want players to come back to our galactic marketplace.

We want you guys to be able to trade there.

We are going to reopen the trade channel right S? >> Very important. Very important.

That’s very much loved channel that we had that left the server and we all felt that pain.

But yeah, the buy, sell, trade channel is coming back to the automata server once the to the Sata server once the 0% marketplace fees kick in. Yep. And finally, the existing recipes, the Mumbai and Calico Calico Maxhog recipes will receive revamp.

So that’s all very cool, very nice and we are really looking forward to see this starting. It should come pretty soon guys. And now finally we have summary of how all of this plays out.

Uh we have Automata sells ships above market price.

People buy those ships to support Automata and also to farm the Zincare campaign. Automata use that money to buy back tokens or and stop the sales pressure. This creates positive loop in atlas value making ships more valuable due to their atlas generating capacity which leads players to play more bring new people to start atlas earn more atlas and more ships use that atlas to reinvest in the ecosystem and the cycle goes on.

So this is the framework that we have created that will support the other announcements and other stuff coming at the end of this year and starts of Q1 next year.

Uh Steve is saying, “My only concern is automat receiving less funds. If you do this, it means you’re in strong position allowing to buy back ships. I’m more than happy about this proposal.

” So the ship buyback in Atlas is coming from uh in-game emissions, right? to say it is >> exactly >> it is from the that atlas is coming from the emission curve >> and mostly coming from scores sunset >> yeah so yeah that’s what is going to be used for buying back the ships so yeah >> yeah yeah captain to is asking problem is who is actually buying ships in this economy uh actually captain to we have very active secondary markets in Star Atlas. And this is one of the realizations that the Ecom team had is that we have lot of volume happening in secondary markets.

Uh not as much in the primary market, but we also have very cool stuff coming like we have the the upcoming releases and we have the Zinc airdrop campaign which is huge motivator for people who wants to grow their fleets in Stratus. mean if you wanted to participate in the zinc airrop by purchasing stuff uh you were mostly restricted to crew cards right now because those were those the model for crew cards was created by Chris. It was more adjusted to the logic of the current markets.

But now now you have the option of compound your fleet as well while farming force doesn’t care.

So it is like for example, imagine new player in Star Atlas, right? If you want to try Staratus as game with the release of Zinc and this new framework, you’ll be able to purchase an XX small ship for around $1. You get the basic resources, the R4, etc.

And since sync transaction fees will be almost irrelevant, you’ll be able to be profitable with your airbike. You’ll be able to engage in the ecosystem. You at least won’t be paying to play the game in sense that transaction fees are better than the outcome of your economic actions.

So only this for me uh this generates very positive loop and momentum for startlas. If we if we tie this with everything else that’s coming, C4, hol scene, UE5 releases, all the zinc stuff, partnerships and etc. think this creates very good momentum for giving that feeling that let’s compound our fleets.

Let’s start playing our game because it’s going to feel very intense and start is very competitive by nature like we have you guys you guys know don’t need to explain this.

We have the huge guilds fighting each other. Imagine when you have actually have the ability to dish out all the trash talk that you guys have in the high-risk zone and other channels on our discord when you can actually capture territory uh with economic effects in C4.

So yeah, we see very interesting momentum building up in Star Atlas. Everything’s going to change and this is just the beginning. Like this is like the foundation of this new moment, an ecom foundation for this new moment.

So it’s not like we intend for this to for these changes to come into effect and then we start instantly selling the ships. Uh, so mean it’s good thought process for sure, but yeah, it’s it’s more about capturing potential upside than just selling them instantly, right? Um, at the same time, still think that price like that, people could still be interested in buying from Automata for different reasons.

Uh, one, to keep funding the game. uh second to get sync points and there there could be many more reasons why it could be interesting to to buy from automata as well.

So >> yeah, we’ll see. >> And guys, guys, one important thing, don’t underestimate what we have been doing here for four years. >> At sometimes when you see token prices are super down, you might get sad, you might get fearful, but the truth is that Star Atlas has been building for years now.

And every day that passes, every day that we survive, we become stronger community, stronger team, more prepared to deal with everything that the world throw at us. And those things compound.

We have very strong community for real. Like you guys have no idea. mean, you guys have because you guys were here, but we went through lot.

We went through lot with lot less experience, with lot less opportunity, with lot less momentum than we have now. When we get everything rolling, when we get everything that we are preparing for Zinc and our upcoming release ready, you guys will see that many people who are sidelined just waiting to see if Stratus is actually the real deal. am very confident that all of them will look and say yeah okay this is real let’s come back let’s start playing because we we were not we are we always played fair you know like we always worked hard we never did uh ponzi schemes to get rich quickly start is about slow steady construction of the vision that we have lined up all those years ago This never changed.

This will never change. And we are here to build that vision.

So, and we have many people, you guys, and many, many thousands of others that believe in that vision.

So, don’t underestimate your community. Don’t underestimate yourselves because Star Atlas will realize its vision.
